The miniature back pressure regulators (so-called LVF units) are a miniaturized version of the low flow series. With its diameter of less than 40 mm, it fits in almost every application. This small unit covers 90% of the flow and pressure range that you can achieve with a standard research series unit. The maximum flow is slightly limited due to the 1/16” UNF process connections, but the flow rangeability is unsurpassed with a turndown ratio of 1:100.000.

With a maximum Kv of 0.0085 (Cv = 0,01) down to a stunning 10E-7, the unit can offer solutions for a wide range of applications. We can make the body material of this unit out of stainless steel or Hastelloy. With Viton o-rings and a polymeric diaphragm, the unit can handle a temperature up to 200°C. Furthermore, the pressure ratings go up to 137 bar (2000 PSI). In addition, the unit can withstand 300°C with Kalrez o-rings and a stainless steel diaphragm.
