About the FDO4 series back pressure regulator

Cv: 1·E-7 to 1.0  |  Max. Temperature: 150°C  |  Max. Pressure: 10 barg (150 PSI)

The FDO4 is a lower-flow back pressure regulator with 1/2″ sanitary clamp connections. 1/2″ sanitary Tri-Clamp connections are standard on these devices. It is ideally sized for liquid blending applications of chemical additives in the range of 1 ml/minute to about 3000 ml/minute. This model is typically outfitted with PTFE or USP Class VI EPDM diaphragms.

The FDO4 units is the smallest sanitary back pressure regulator available. The unit has a Cv range from 1·E-7 up to 1. This means that it has a huge turndown ratio. The units are typically used in a range from 1 ml/min up to 3000 ml/min water. Lower flows are easy to achieve by creating a closed loop control.

This model is standard available in SS316 or Hastelloy 276. The diaphragm is made out of USP Class VI PTFE. O-rings, like Kalrez 6230 or PEF encapsulated O-rings are used and FDA approved.
